treatment networks

The natural degradation of organic matter throughout the water and wastewater networks lead to corrosion, irritating gases (NH3 and PH3), asphyxiants (H2, CO2, CH4), explosives (H2, PH3, H2S, CH4) and gases with greenhouse effect (CO2, CH4, N2O). Operators of the networks need to address these gaseous emissions to protect their employees but also for all citizens living or working near their installations. The increasing population and urbanization have heightened the urgency of these challenges.
Aleph Insight offers solutions to treat these gaseous emissions in multiple types of installations (lifting stations, buffer basins, sludge storage buildings…). With its compact and energy-efficient systems, Aleph can be integrated where other systems cannot.

ALEPH in a buffer basin in a touristic area
The seaside town of Dinard is a popular tourism destination in Brittany, France. Twenty years ago, a buffer basin was set up directly on the city’s main beach. This buffer basin had since been the subject of continuous complaints from residents and tourists for the odours that emerge and have made the beach unpopular. Scrubbers and reinforced maintenance could not solve the odour problem to the satisfaction of the surrounding population.
Since summer 2022, the Aleph solution has been implemented with only Aleph modules that have proven to be sufficient to eliminate the nuisance and change the atmosphere around the buffer basin.
